Obey to the Symbolic order

The student might have given the honest answers, but the teacher didn’t satisfy with them. The fundamental problem with student’s answers is that, they did deviate from the socially desirable answers. Then, the teacher complained to higher authority about student’s disobedience. In lacanian sense, student didn’t obey to the Symbolic order when he developed an answer.

Therefore, two questions can be arisen after reading this story.

Is fried chicken a food or an animal?

What is the most important thing to consider when answering a question? Honesty or should an answer be conform to the social reality?
